~At Sweet Lou’s, we make everything from scratch with quality ingredients according to the client’s request.  

~Being a Cottage Food Operation, we may not be able to provide certain products due to restrictions with our license(i.e.-products that require refrigeration).

~Pricing subject to change

~We are always testing and trying new recipes-please ask if you have a special request!

terms and  conditions

  • Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable.

  • We must receive the balance by the due date indicated or contract is null and void and deposit will not be refunded.

  • Cancellation after final payment is made is non-refundable and is non-transferable.  When we take your event order, we begin the process of declining other orders. As we get closer to your event date, the chances of re-booking your date are greatly reduced.

  • The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style or flavors of the order.  Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

  • Seasonal items may incur an additional charge or may be substituted if unavailable for time of delivery.

  • We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete.  You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake. 

  • If fresh flowers are requested, they must be treated in a manner to make them safe to put on and in the cake.  under no circumstances will sweet lou's allow an outside party to do this or client will assume all liability in the event there is an illness.  If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will arrange up to 25 stems for no additional charge.  $1/each additional stem. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt or other contaminants.

  • Toppers or decorations should be brought to Sweet Lou’s 7 days prior to your event so they may be assessed for weight and stability.  On site decoration may be required and must be arranged prior.

  • If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves our possession.  A signed release is required for tiered cakes. Cakes larger than 2 tiers MUST be delivered.

  • On occasion, we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.

  • Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, eggs or other allergens.  You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

  • While Sweet Lou’s makes every effort to provide exactly the flavor, filling, decoration, size, color, shape and design discussed during consultations, creating cake is an art form and may be subject to variations

  • Performance of the agreement is contingent upon the ability of Sweet Lou’s to complete this agreement when delay of default is caused by conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to: Acts of God, Government restrictions, war, terrorism, criminal act, insurrection, and/or any other causes beyond reasonable control of the company.

  • Sweet Lou’s is limited to the liability of cost of your order.

~if for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us immediately or return remaining product to be assessed.  refunds will not be administered without the ability to investigate the issue.  We strive to create only the best experience for each client.
